OUT Sports League is proud to partner with the Kindred Pride Foundation to be apart of the inaugural Pride Cup. The Pride Cup an LGBTQ+ sports competition held each year during the first weekend in June in Orlando. With events welcoming all levels of athletes, and coinciding with the famous One Magical Weekend, Girls in Wonderland and Tidal Wave parties, you are in for an epic weekend of beach volleyball and great parties near Walt Disney World in Orlando. OUT Sports League will run the Beach Volleyball Tournament for the Pride Cup.

June 4th and 5th in Orlando, Florida
1 Day Tournament in Orlando!

Please note: This is an LGBTQ+ recreational tournament. We welcome players of all skill, gender, and sexuality, but the primary focus of this tournament is to represent the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.

The Pride Cup is a seeded bracket tournament.

9am - 12pm: Pods of 4-5 teams will compete in in a round robin format. Their tournament seeding will be determined by their final rank.
1pm - 4pm: Single Elimination tournament. Teams will be seeded based on their results from the round robin section of the tournament.
Full schedule will be released by June 1st, but plan to participate all day.

PRIZES (PER TEAM):
1st Place - Pride Cup Medals + $750
2nd Place - $250

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

Register as a TEAM: No roster max but teams must have 4 players on the court at a time. Players register individually once the captain creates a team.
Register as a FREE AGENT: Want to play in the tournament but don't have a team? No problem! We will form Free Agent Teams for you to meet new people! Free agents may name a friend they'd like to play with during registration.

TOURNAMENT RULES
- Coed tournament, but teams may be assembled with no limitations on any gender. (ex. there is no requirement to have a female player on your team).
- Tournament uses the RALLY scoring method. Every time the ball is served there will be a point scored. You do not need to be serving in order to score a point.
- Round robin matches consist of either 2 games with the first to 21 points and a cap of 23 points, or single 25 point games (depending on the number of teams). 
- Elimination tournament matches will be first to 2 game wins (games to 21 points, 3rd to 15 if needed).
- All players must rotate positions on the court. The player in the back right hand corner of the rotation will serve. Additional players will enter on the serve.
- Players will receive a more detailed rulebook as we approach the tournament date.

PLAYER COST:
$30 - per player starting March 9th
Registration CLOSES May 31st. 

LOCATION:
Games are played at Dr. P. Phillips Community Center volleyball courts. Food Trucks will arrive to provide food options while playing.

TRANSPORTATION:
There is no transportation to the fields. We encourage car rentals, but ubers/lyfts are available. The hotel is 2.7 miles from the fields.

WEATHER:
Florida Rain is predictably unpredictable. Games will play unless lighting is present.
