Welcome to OUT Sports League DODGEBALL!
If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball. OUT Sports League provides fun, recreational, and social sports leagues to Central Florida's LGBTQ+ community. Our Dodgeball league is designed to be inclusive of people of skill levels and backgrounds. We use no-sting dodgeballs to create a fun, fast-paced environment. We play at the Englewood Neighborhood which has a huge gym with a built-in court divider, ample parking and convenient location near the 408 Expressway.
This is a STANDARD season where players can create their own teams or join as a FREE AGENT or with FRIENDS and the league will place you on a team.
Players will have the option to register for Recreational or Competitive Dodgeball divisions. If you take dodgeball seriously, please join the competitive division, we want to keep recreational as fun and low pressure as possible. To help with competitive balance, all teams will be required to accept free agents (4 in in competitive and 6 in recreational), so each team may recruit 8 of their own players.
Each week, following play we invite you to head over to District Dive and get a FREE DRINK after every game!. This season OUT Sports League is sponsored by Pineapple Healthcare!
LEAGUE INFORMATION
8 Week Dodgeball Season
Mondays from July 13 - August 31
Games take place between 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Games played with no-sting rubber dodgeballs. All games refereed.
Recreational Division
- Utilizes a full court with a neutral zone, this less intense format is recommended for new and developing players. Teams will play one 50-minute match each week. 10v10 format. Team size is 14, each team will be assigned 6 Free Agents, so teams may bring 8 of their own players.
Competitive Division
- Traditional dodgeball format without a nuetral zone, recommended for more experienced players. Teams will play two 25-minute matches each week. 8v8 format. Teams size is 12 players, each team will be assigned 4 Free Agents, so teams may bring 8 of their own players,.

Invited to a team? Register as a TEAM PLAYER and select your team.
Don't have a team? Register as a FREE AGENT
If you want to play with a FRIEND please name each other during registration. No chains of Friends.

I don't have a team, can I still play?
Yes, register as an Individual and we will place you with a team.
I will miss a few weeks, can I still play?
Yes, all teams have extra players on them just in case you're absent on a given week. Teams can also use substitute players.
How do I make sure my friend and I play on the same team?
During registration there is a field where you can list the friend(s) you want to play with and the league will place you together.
I don't know how to play or don't think I'll be very good, should I play?
Yes, join our social division and you will learn the basics in a fun, encouraging environment.
I'm not LGBTQ+, can I still play?
Yes, we are accepting to all people as long as you consider yourself an ally to our community.
